Four performances: two on 4 May and two on 5 May. An interactive concert in the Off-Theater in Vienna in two parts: (1) a movement performance by the four movement artists, and dances presented by the children in the audience; and (2) a musical performance of the first and fourth parts of Stravinsky’s composition by the two pianists.

allerdings will present an improvisation as part of a concert that will honour the life work of Herbert Lauermann, an Austrian composer. We will be joined by Emilia Forck.

Trio Auturja will present the first performance of a work that I created for them: a new trio consisting of arrangements of two songs, originally for Baritone and piano, from my song Cycle Rare Kinnerjare. They will also play music by Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert and Rota. This concert is part the series Sommerkonzerte 2025.
This was the first performance in South Africa of the seven short pieces for piano solo, which were composed in Vienna and of which I gave the first performance in Vienna. Catrien Wentink’s performance was part the yearly NWU South African New Music Concert, supported by MASARA.

I was part of an ensemble under the direction of Milly Groz: eight students and two children presented an improvisation in music and movement that were structured through ‘sound painting’.
